The Holiday Tree is Back Under The Arch This Year - 2 Great Events!

Halloween has past us by with all the revelries of the parade down 6th Avenue and the Children’s Parade in Washington Square Park. That also means that is holiday season once again.

We couldn’t be happier to have our glorious tree back under the Washington Square Arch for the holiday celebrations this year in the park, our 94th year sponsoring both the tree and the caroling!

Please join us for two events, the Tree Lighting on Wednesday December 5th at 6pm and our Christmas Eve Caroling on Monday, December 24th at 5pm.

The Washington Square Association, Inc. founded in 1906, is one of the city’s oldest community organizations.  For 94 years, it has sponsored carol singing under the arch.  Other activities concern the continued improvement of Washington Square, the Washington Square Music Festival, and the fostering of neighborhood spirit.
