Join us for the kick off the 60th season of the Washington Square Music Festival!!!

On Tuesday, June 5th at 8m on the Main Stage in Washington Square, conductor Lutz Rath, oboist Robert Ingliss, and the Festival Chamber Orchestra celebrate the Festival's 60th season of free concerts in a sublime classical program by the masters.  The music of Johann Strauss II, Richard Strauss and Ludwig van Beethoven is  a fitting tribute to the longevity of this venerable Greenwich Village tradition that has, for so long, offered free summer music in the historic park.  The Festival is under the auspices of the Washington Square Association.  eating is first come, first served.
